Remove the right side inspection plate from the lift housing and reach in and down to the control valve connection and see if the control arms have become dislodged from the control valve T thingy. If it you will need to either remove the left side inspecion plate and maybe the seat and while hugging the tractor try to put it back together.
I used to could do it that way. Now I drain all the three places of oil and let it drip for a few hours then by looking up through the lift drain hole I can get it back together using a screwdriver and needle nose pliers and prayer!
