I had this same problem just a few weeks ago. I removed the plug on the bottom of the carb and found that I was not getting enough fuel. So I followed the line up. I removed the intake line at the carb ad cleaned the screen. Still no better. I removed the line at the bottom of the sediment bowl and still had very slow fuel flow there. I removed the valve from the tank. Be sure that you have a bucket to catch all of your fuel in. I used carb cleaner on the valve and got a bunch of gunk out of it. I cleaned everything and used yellow teflon tape at the proper connections. My tractor now runs better than it has since I have owned it. So
