My s/n 292 has dash number 353. Wonder what the relation is, if there is any, to the actual production sequence of the tractor. Tim Daly always maintained the engine number bore no real relation to the tractor production date, i.e. s/n 347 might have come off the assembly line before 292. Kind of difficult (impossible) to actually figure the date any individual tractor was produced. If you accept that engine numbers really indicate the sequence of production, then you can estimate the production date by using Harold Brock's record of monthly production and considering general learning curve calculation with , say a 50 unit variation daily and come pretty close.

I estimated that my s/n 292 was probably produced in the second week of August 1939 while my 5913 I estimated November 21st or so as it's date, but if Tim Daly was correct the all bets are off.
