last 1939 serial number

I have been looking at 9N serial numbers. Most lists that I have read report 10275 as the last 1939. BUT, my ooooooold FO4 manual reports 10247 as the last 1939. Which is correct? Anyone know? I am looking at a 9N that falls between those 2 numbers and I'm curious if it is a 39 or a 40
