Couple other thoughts on this: I folded a towel several times to work on. You can press down on the housing and the towel absorbs the rounded shape of the light so it doesn't roll around on your bench while you try to do this. Also, the first clip is easy - install the 2nd one on the opposite side of the housing and then split the difference between the two with the 3rd clip. Stay away from bottom of the housing to avoid interfering with the screw that attaches the rim (door) to the housing.
