Nothing wrong with the coil I have, tested at 1.5 ohms.

I converted the distributor to a Pertronix setup about 15 years ago. It has performed flawlessly, but as I have put a lot of time on the tractor in the years since, it is time to refurbish the ignition. I picked up a new cap and rotor, plugs and wires for a tuneup. The location of the distributor makes the work difficult, and the coil adds another dimension of difficulty.

If it isn’t in the picture, I believe the work would be much easier.

So I want to relocate the coil.
