I have an early 8N (front distributor) converted to 12 volts about five years ago. Over the summer it was starting very well, however with the colder weather it has been getting harder and harder to start and now it won't start at all. The carburetor (original M&S) was recently rebuilt. I checked the spark by sticking a wire in the end of a plug wire and turned the engine over. The spark looked very weak to me. The distributor had new points, condenser, coil, rotor and cap about two years ago. I pulled the distributor and the points look like they are properly gaped (haven't checked with a feeler gauge). Anything specific I should check? Any other suggestions?
