I have one of those also and I believe it may have been from a 2N, but perhaps a 41 9N as that year they began doing cast steel dash and transmission top pieces. I have a aluminum distributor that I believe is an early 39 and it is different slightly from any others in that it only has a single drain hole drilled in the bottom while later units appear to have more elaborate drain that offer some protection from the ingress of water or mud from moving parts in the area during operation. Also this distributor came off a s/n 3K 39 9N and I believe it to be original.
