I have no clue on how to repair that, other than having a machine shop make you a bushing ($$). You can probably pick up a used spindle from a 9N or 2N in your area, or call Derek Barkley at Just 8N's and see if he has a used one in good condition. The last time that I visited Just 8N's in Shelby, NC, they had a mini-warehouse in the basement of good used parts they had salvaged from restoration work. Derek will treat you right.
