No offense meant but just dumping a gallon of stuff in the bellhousing probably just made it worse. I'm sure you cleaned up the inside of the castings alot but while it was swishing around the clutch and pressure plate you just contaminated it more. It may seem like a big job but done properly a clutch job on one of these tractors is pretty straightforward. My opinion is to just bite the bullet and replace the clutch assembly and at least the front seal on the transmission. Greg
