Ignition trouble/ short

I'm having trouble with a 6 volt front distributor 8N.
Recently replaced points and condensor. I have checked and it has good
white blue spark. It starts but as soon as a let up on the starter
switch, it immediately dies. I have replaced the ballast resistor also
but same problem still persists. Thanks for any suggestions in solving
this problem.
