R&R "OLD" rear tires

Hi,
Looking for information on how to R&R rear tires on. 49 8N.

Hat wheels are shot so i am going to use an angle grinder split them from the tires.

Tires are quite old so i am curious if they will crack when trying to mount on new hat wheels.
