Dear NTC Club,
After reviewing your forum, I felt compelled to add another 9N/2N ownership story. I am in my late sixties, and if I had a nickel for every mile I rode a transplanter behind this tractor in western Pennsylvania from 1956 to 1974, then I would be a rich lady today.
I do not own one today, but if I needed an all-purpose tractor, this would be my choice. I used to have a picture of me sitting on my fatherís lap sitting on our first one surrounded with pumpkins we had just brought from the field to our farm market. I was maybe three or four years old at the time.
In addition, my grandfather, Floyd Minick, was a dealer in Ford/Ferguson tractors in Derry, PA as well as using one himself for his farming. With the PTO, you could attach and do most anything and we did.
Just thought you would like to know.
Claudia A. Minick
