I appreciate your responses. The thoughts from members here prompted me to do a more thorough check. I found the battery terminals (12 volt) were corroded....my bad. So, I tried running jumper cables from my truck and it started right away. I drove it back inside and removed the battery to be charged on the bench and cleaned all the corrosion from all connections. It then started at the first turn. Problem solved? I hope so. Thanks to all. DED
