Yeah, I called Miller Tire first to ask about a Firestone 9.2 or 9.5 x 32 tire and they said they were no longer made. On their site they only stock the MITAS 9.5 x 32 - see LINK. There were originally 3 brands that FORD used - Firestone was the main one as Henry Ford & Harvey Firestone were friends since the Model T, and were part of their 'Vagabonds' group, and would have family ties thru marriage. Next was the B.F. Goodrich brand. FYI: It was Charles Goodyear who developed Vulcanization in 1844. No relation to Spock ... ; > ). The 3rd was the FORD brand itself. Henry Ford, as part of his never ending quest to have his world manufacturing center, The Rouge Plant, had a rubber facility set up as well. He would buy land in Brazil, called it Fordlandia, and had plantations of the Hevea basilienis tree grown to produce the latex needed for rubber production. Workers were mostly locals but the project was one of the few Ford failures as it took a long time for a tree to mature and then the yield was so small it wasn't worth the effort. Brazil was the world leader in latex export and the amount needed in the US alone for tire production could not maintain the demand. A severe disease of the trees would wipe out the rest of Ford's rubber experiment. FORD would later ship their tire molds and manufacturing machines to Russia but they were never compensated for the effort.
