Nothing will help your engine start as well as warming the coolant. Cold temps reduce the volatility of the fuel/air mixture. Warming the coolant warms the combustion chamber, increases volatility and makes them start better.
I am not saying mag heaters won't help but they not as effective as a coolant heater. Warming the oil is not as effective as warming the coolant and combustion chambers and modern multiweight oils mostly eliminate the need for that.
You can't put a block heater in an N. So install a coolant heater in the lower radiator hose for maximum effectiveness.
