Thanks Jimmyjack. I had not thought of that regarding the direct drive shaft, but it makes good sense. Can you take a picture of your set up and post it. The Ford N series were set up so that the pulley had a flange that bolted directly to the gear box housing. My D15 is not set up that way, so will need a way when pulley is slid on pto shaft, it can be pinned or use some other method to hold it on the shaft. Your idea, if I understand what you have uses a short belt to take up shock loads along with a short universal drive shaft. Sounds brilliant and would love to see a picture. Thanks!
