The extra tire wear is quickly dismissed by the greenies, as if it is not an issue. There is also the toxic dust from brake pads.
This is known to the boat service community, as they must contain all the stuff coming from boat hulls. There are measuring devices on the downslope of many boat yards. One yard was going to be shut down. But first, the yard, moved the measuring devices to the top side of the yard, but downstream of a highway. The crap, copper in particular, was coming from the road, not the yard.
