Some are not getting my point. I understand the flag lowering was created to honor fallen American patriots, govt members, US servicemen, etc. A drug addicted, dead from overdoes black "singer" or a dead criminal black man immortalized with a flag lowering should never be allowed. Flora-DUH guv DeSantis authorizing the flag lowering for Rush would be to honor an American Patriot. His opposition spewing forth from her mouth he was a was a racist, hate monger, and spreader of lies only confirms the left's hypocrisy. Mayors and governors across the US declared flags be lowered for Floyd. Huh? How the hell does he qualify? What about the 4 US Marines and 2 cops who were killed last month? Did any of them get a flag lowering let alone any mention except maybe in their own hometown newspaper and then maybe at that. Floyd Flag LINK - one of many so take your pick.
