"G.R.I.P." (Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians) has been advocated for years as a way to limit terms.

There are two sides to that theory:

(1) A good representative for his constituents will be lost after one term.

(2) A crooked politician will grab as much as he can knowing he is only there for one term.
