The domestic migration of US citizens can actually be more destructive than many of the foreign immigrants. They turned their homes into crap and now want to turn yours into crap.
I have two sisters who live in Texas. Born and raised in Michigan. Both are conservatives. I joked with the younger sister last week about parts of Texas being like Californica. Arlington is your San Francisco and Austin is your Sacramento. I have visited both.
Sister said, Austin motto is, "keep Austin weird". Her son was a deputy sheriff for several years in Austin and quit because of "weird".
