Iím with you. When my 05 Chevy diesel bites the dust, I really doubt Iíll buy another new diesel pickup. The fuel range and mileage is good, but the increased inital purchase price, operating cost from the mandated emissions equipment (example, D.E.F,) and increases service and maintenance cost outways the fuel economy. At least, for a occasional user like me, I pulled trailers for a living it would be different. Plus, most gassers are good for 300,000 + miles these days.
BTW, are you the same Larry Tx on the Willys Jeep forums???
