Counties, as well as states, have figured out how to use the densely populated areas to get special assessments (tax increases) that affect county wide properties but benefit primarily the dense population area. A "small" millage added to other "small" millages, plus property assessment increases, add up to some hefty annual property tax bills.
I am in a semi-rural area. We have an expanded bus system that does not reach me or reasonably near me. Yet, we have these 45 foot buses running around, mostly empty, and interfering with normal vehicle traffic because they block the right lane at stops.
There is another issue pending to assess higher "tipping" fees for trash haulers which will add to my rubbish cost. Trucks are coming from Canada every day with their trash. Can we tax Canada?
