Every legitimate hunter knows you follow the laws. You are licensed, use the proper equipment, and know gun safety. Most deer hunting laws restrict hunting from sunup til sundown or within a half hour of each. Rule #1 of hunting is to always identify your target. This recent story of a slob, yes, I said slob because this guy was NOT a hunter. Period. He was poaching. Read the story and you'll find he was shooting long after sunset, like two hours, and with a handgun, which isn't illegal but the shot was about 200 yards -pretty far beyond a hand gun range. So once again the liberal media prepuce heads have sensationalized the story in hopes to stir up more gun control controversy. This guy may certainly be a legal gun owner but he certainly was no hunter. I'll bet he was out there in his jeans and sweatshirt too -no hunter garb whatsoever. Most states require deer hunters to wear the standard hunter (fluorescent) orange outer clothing of some sort.
