I do have some concerns about a ConCon. I was a huge advocate in the past and am still to some degree. But, when talk about this was heavy a while back, we started to see BIG money roll in on this. My concern is that State politicians will send cronies and those who owe them, and will do the back room thing and for whatever we get, we may give up too much. Example: We'll vote for term limits, but you have to vote to neuter the Second Amendment.

I'd feel more comfortable with a ConCon if:

1- delegates from each state would be elected at conventions vs. being slated by state political parties;
2- the agenda would be set in stone before the convention and not amendable once the ConCon started. Example: We will discuss and vote on term limits ONLY at this ConCon.

Thoughts?
