I saw that on the news. Texted my sister in New Braunfels while I sat in my lawn swing about 11:30am local, and no snow here (yet).
For some excitement (before a storm), I shutdwon my furnace to relocate the 1/2" gas line for clearence for a new door to the enclosure. I wrote out all of the steps and gathered all needed tools and supplies, and had it done in about 45 minutes.
Storm moving up from SW and has started about 20 minutes ago. Advisories are posted for snow and possible ice.
60 years ago today (I was 17) I slammed my car into a cement bridge abutment on snow covered road. I spent a week in the hospital. Cuts and abrasions but no broken bones.
We are staying home. May watch some football.
