JD 3038 might just be a rebranded Yanmar. How much does it weigh in relation to the Jube? Tracking right might mean it might life the front of the Yanmar off the ground.
The Jube is rated for how much HP against the Yanmar? Add 50 years for the Jube.
Other than light loafers for the Yanmar, might come out the same.
You generally buy a new tractor a size or two above what you think you need.
I looked at the 4000 series of the JD. 40 grand plus got my attention fairly quickly.
I could sell her 1977 Cat D4, the side by side, add a Kubota B7500 and be within target range in about a month.
All that would be left after that is painting it red and gray.
