A little over a year ago after an update on windows 10 I couldn't start my computer, it was dead! I got my windows 7 laptop out and looked up the problem and found it was quite common for 10 to lock up like that after an update. There seemed to be three fixes for it; an easy one, if that didn't work try a more complicated fix, then a more complicated one. All three didn't work, so I kept trying variations and after several days there was a little message come up that asked if I wanted to change the computer back to the way it came from the factory. Clicked yes and I had my windows 7 back without losing much since I had an external backup hard drive.
Told my son about this and stated "guess my next computer will be an Apple", he informed he had bought a new Imac and his old one was just sitting in his garage and was still good. I don't like this Apple as well as windows 7, but I'm never going back to windows 10!
