I watch it all the time as I grew up near Traverse City where Marty operates out of. They sure have a knack for stringing you on. Seems the results of the search are more of an important historical nature than treasure, I feel the treasure likely was or is there. Unusually complex ancient structures found thus far with more showing up too. Also watched their Lake Michigan Confederate Gold show. I worked out of Muskegon doing heavy marine construction for years, had a tug and towing license and am familiar with the lakes rivers and coasts. I think I know more about Hackley than the shows producers do. Our docks were on Muskegon Lake where Hackley's mill was and a block from where his original office was. Had an apartment near Hackley's home(s) were and knew thet area well. That show, the gold, and some people in the show are quite questionable. They do bring up some interesting Civil War and Michigan history but most of the show is pure chaff.
