Thank you and Dan, and all the other vets, particularly the injured, for your service and sacrifice.
This post gives me an opportunity to discuss a subject about which I feel quite strongly.
I enlisted in the Air Force (four years) and served all but 69 days of the Korean Conflict. However the duty I drew was Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, Alaska followed by March AFB, Riverside, California. I was a radio repairman. I do not feel I am entitled to call myself a veteran! I believe that term should be reserved for Combat Veterans! Admittedly I did not chose my MOS (AFSC) nor did I choose my duty stations. But I did chose my branch of service.
Does anyone else feel the same?
