If you already tore it down and desire to clean it, Oven cleaner is the same item as engine cleaner. I have a professional plastic kitty litter container with gas in it with a plastic parts brush. If you desire to flush the engine, you can run a qt of Kerosene in with the oil and let the engine run 30 minutes, shut off and drain empty. Change filter and refill.
