I'm not a hunter and know little about deer hunting but it looks like a nice buck to me.

I have a friend that hunts my place. He mostly trophy hunts but will take a doe to eat on the last day if he has not gotten a good buck.

Last year he got a 10 point buck with a bow without even climbing into his tree. While walking to his stand, a doe ran in front of him with the buck in pursuit. He called me on his phone, told me the direction that it had gone, and asked if I could see it from my house (I could), so he walked back to my house to reconnoiter. After walking to the other side of the thicket where the doe and buck were, the buck showed itself near the edge of the thicket and he got it while standing on the ground in the hay field.

Talk about luck.

I helped him get it to his vehicle and was surprised of the smell.

Again, I'm not a hunter.
