I have replace the Steering Pump on my '89 Lincoln two times! First one had a whine after I got done. Second one has more of a growl!
I even purchased a vacuum pump to evacuate the system. Pumped the second installation for 3 hours continuous with no results.
Tech Support now says to drive it!
Looking for any ideas. I think my options are to either do another replacement from a different vendor or get an "experienced" one and put new seals in it before I install it.
