Plumbing a Cistern

I have 30gpm well that is 520'. Static level is below 475'. I placed a 2100 gallon cistern. It is buried about 50' above the roof line of the house. The well head is on the same plane as the foundation of the house. The well head is in the middle of a 400' run from the house to the cistern.

The inlet and outlet for the cistern are on the lower level of the tank about 6" apart. Is there any sound reason why I should not run one poly pipe teed at the well head?

The only benefit I can see to running a separate outlet pipe is that should I spring a leak in the future I could plumb the good pipe with a tee.

I am using 200 poly.
