Flurries right now at 08.45 EST in Mid-Michigan. Northern areas getting walloped today. Nothing unusual if you've been around. It's only mid-April. I've been on trout openers, late April here in MICH, and stood in creeks while the snow blizzards made casting a challenge. I recall one Christmas where we had 70°F temps, and the same year at Easter we had temps in the teens with snow accumulations. The fields are not wet, not flooded like some years, and I haven't seen very many being worked/planted yet. Us native Michiganders are used to 9 months of winter. I recall one Fourth of July in the UP, in Calumet watching a 4th parade and it was cold, started to rain, and the rain turned to snow.
