It's been a long time buddy. I know this doesn't answer your question but my old childhood good friend and guitarist Bill is an over the road trucker. He had a load going to Mexico and so was down in Laredo all week. He called me on Friday and said he was on the road out of there and he couldn't be happier as it was 110°F all week. I'd been told once by a mechanic to run your heater in the summer when it gets unbearably real hot to blow off excess heat from the engine and radiator. I don't know about that. Running the AC will put an extra strain on the system though. It's always funny here in Michigan to listen to people complain in January that it's too cold and are just wishing for this 80°F weather and then in July when it's 80-90°F they pray for 20°F weather. Good luck with your F150 -good trucks.
