For what its worth...this one scares me the most: When you get up and go into another room for something and then once there forget why you came in the first place. Seriously.
Remember when gas was 50¢ per gallon; and when you pulled in, an attendant pumped it AND washed your windows and checked your oil; a 16 ounce glass bottle of Coke was 10¢; milk, beer, and pop were sold only in glass bottles or tin cans -no plastic or aluminum yet, and glass bottles had a deposit; a pack of cigarettes was 25¢; a candy bar was a nickel; bread was a quarter per loaf; milk and everything else was cheap too. What about a new car? $6000 was average. Nowadays they go for about as much as what houses cost back then.
