In younger years brand names came and went with importance probably due to cost as much as anything. I bought tires from sears because they were ok and much cheaper than Michelin. I used only Pennsoil or Castrol because oil was cheap. I ate Cheerios because Cheerios were cheap too.
I had cheap tools that worked ok, but bought Craftsman when ever I had a chance.
Now I buy Michelin tires because they are worth the cost.
I buy cheap oil fot the old cars that use oil and Castrol, Pennsoil, or Mobile 1 for new ones that dont use oil.
I found a nice set of tools that are snap on knockoffs that work well.
Like many here I am loyal to Ford for a lot of things...
But the one wierd brand name that I buy is Glad Plastic Wrap. I cannot stand cheap plastic wrap. So we buy Glad even though it costs twice as much.
So what is your wierd brand loyality...
