Prior to the convertible I had a '56 Club Sedan with the T-Bird engine. The original engine had been replaced with one from the local boneyard. That car lasted about 3 months. A cement bridge abutment got in the way. The convertible came next.
Pricing was about the same. In 1960, the Club Sedan was $400 with the engine, the convertible was $600. Yup, some great memories. I was dating the farmers daughter.
