just took the kids out doing donuts last night. Son is a pro at drifting (age 20). People might think it's childish but he knows how to drive in the snow! No wrecks or in the ditch so far... I think my training is working.
16 year old Daughter's first lesson was last night. She did great. Must have been those years in the hopped up barbie jeep that did that. (15 mph on plastic tires are good for drifting).
Both have been driving stick shift trucks on the roads from 12 years old on. I say get them out early and teach them right. It beats having them in the ditch or wrecked somewhere.
I saw post of when to start the grand kids driving the tractor??? as soon as they can reach the clutch peddle i say.
