"... a date which will live in infamy..." were the some of the first words from President Franklin D. Roosevelt's speech on December 8, 1941 referring to the barbaric attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on the day before, December 7, 1941. After his speech, Congress declared war on Japan and thus the USA entered World War II. I hope everyone took a few moments today to say a silent prayer in remembrance of that day and all the brave people, civilian as well as military personnel who lost their lives in that surprise attack. God Bless the USA.
