I got the generator back from the repair shop today and installed on my home made tractor. This auto-lite generator is a little different because it is gear drive and the distributor is on the end of the unit. On the second try on installing it fired up, but wasn't charging. After polarizing the cut out it started charging. This tractor was built about 25 years ago using a Wisconsin tf engine, 53 cj jeep axles (narrowed), transmission and transfer unit. All this lives in a custom frame. I use to plow snow and tow things around. The plow is lifted via a belt driven pump and controlled with a 2 spool valve. There is a 3point and cylinder on the rear. No I didn't build it, but brought it back to use after getting new parts for the Rockford clutch which was blown when I bought it. Sorry to be long winded, but I wanted to share today's doings.
