I have a Ford Parts Catalog dated April, 1949.

Following-up on 36 Coupe's info below, there are two generators listed for 1932, 1933, V8 90hp engines.

Generator # 18-10000-A described as 3-brush, 6v, single 4.08" sheave used in 1932. This used a # 18-10139 front-end plate assy., which is illustrated the same as your pic and described as 7.93" overall length.

Generator # 40-10000-A described as 3-brush, 6v, 12A, single 4.08" sheave used in 1933-1934. This used a # 40-10139-A front-end plate assy. (non-ventilated) which was replaced by # 40-10139-b ventilated front-end plate assy. Neither of these front plates are illustrated.

Both of these generators used 9.19" long armature # 18-10005.

Both of these generators used single-sheave pulley #18-10130 described as 4.03" O.D., which contradicts above description of 4.08" (printing mistake?).

As of the 1949 printing, both of these generators were replaced by # 81A-10000-A.
...There is no illustration of either of the earlier gens, just the #81-A1000-A.

The cutout assy listed for 1928-1939 is # B-10505 for use with 3-brush gen.

Hope this info helps you.
