We just bought 39 acres about half an hour from where we live. 20 years ago, the house we live in was sitting out here by itself. Now we are surrounded. Unfortunately, we do not have much property here. One new neighbor's dog killed our poultry. Another new neighbor ignorant of the fact that the wildlife do not care who owns which piece of property beat on our door and accused us of trespassing. It was the local deer herd that had crossed his property and became tangled in his new fence. The third new neighbor shoots whenever he wants. It does not matter who is disturbed. Imagine taking a nap on a lazy Sunday afternoon and some idiot touching off an '06 15 yards from your bedroom window.
There is no way any idiot can get close to the new property.
On the other hand, we have several neighbors that are respectful of others and only wish to be left in peace.
If you fall into the latter camp, Idaho will welcome you.
