I get it. Wouldn't be thinking about moving if I liked the way things work in Cali. Looking for a place where the 2d amendment is respected; where personal responsibility is the norm; where faith isn't frowned on, where my tax dollars aren't flushed down the toilet for social programs that don't work and where my vote actually counts. One of my best friends from the service (Vietnam 1969) just bought a placed up in Kamiah and is moving from Costa Mesa, CA up there. We share the same view of the world. Kind of has us interested in that area. I was born here in Sacramento. Been a country boy at heart all my life. Actually, the area we live in was kind of rural when I was a kid; lots of open space and a river to play in. When I came home from Vietnam in 1970, Reagan was the governor, George Murphy was one of our US Senators and the good guys held the assembly and state senate. Life was good. Downhill since then. The demographics have changed this beautiful state and it is never getting better. Jerry Brown 2.0. Give me a break. Time to move on. Too much information, I know, but it is good to vent.
