First, somewhat, funny thing I've seen from Jimmy Kimmel. Local news does a clip every morning.
I was a frequent flier (almost every week) from 1987 to about 1991. Then less so (once per month) from 1991 until I retired in 2007. There were some fun times, some "interesting" times and some difficult times. 9-11 certainly put a crimp in all of it.
Business travelers used to book 2 or more flights for the same day and destination. If they were late for one, "oh well", catch the next one, no penalty. Often flights left with numerous vacant seats. Not anymore.
We fly once or twice per year now. 3 and 1/2 hours beats 3 days on the road, DTW to AUS. Going to DC in May (I hate Ohio/Pennsylvania Turnpike). What we do to visit family.
