Thinking about installing an irrigation system covering most of my back yard. My question is as follows: the articles I've read suggest using a trencher to dig the necessary trenches or of course digging by hand. Digging by hand is not an option. I've used trenchers before, renting from a local rental place. Has anyone used a subsoiler to trench for the tubing??? I've seen them advertised and would match up perfectly with my JD 2520. Subsoiler is basically a single bar (middle buster without wide hoe) with a very narrow hoe on the tip. My area the recommended depth is around 10-12". Depth is not that important due to fact the system needs to be drained during the winter months unless I go below the frost line. I've seen three point attachments that will trench and bury the tubing at the same time. This would ideal if I can find one at a reasonable price. Any leads on this item???

Any thoughts or suggestions????
