Thanks Ray , that is one of the things I was considering doing but First I would like to at least tear it down to see what is wrong with what I have. I've used this press before when it was set up in the shop of the company where I work (about 5 years ago) and It worked great. so I have no idea what went wrong and why it was sent out for repairs or what was done.I'd hate to spent a lot of money and time converting it and find out it was a simple fix like a set of seals or just emery paper to a plunger to clean it up.The people that run the shop where I work don't have a reputation for being the brightest bulb in the pack, I mean really who sends a piece of large equipment out (shipping cost alone) for repairs but buys a replacement while it was gone then when it comes back leaves it out in the weather for 2 years instead of putting it to use in one of our other shops? god Bless, Beth and Allen.
