Jim...thanks for following up. If the Jub & NAA both have the lugs it makes me wonder if they have the same diffy housing as the 8N. According to some of the posts below, Ford discontinued the longpin in 1949, so there was no reason to keep the lugs in the casting designs. Unless they already had the casting dies made by the time the legal stuff was settled.
