I've asked the question several times to guys like Palmer Fossom when was the last Aluminum Hood. I think the best way to ask this is when was the first steel hood, but that doesn't work because of the recall. No one I've talked with has Aluminum after 600 although the purchase order called for 1000 pieces, seems not all were used.
